Melt! Festival
The 13th Melt! festival will take place from the 16th – 18th July 2010 at Ferropolis aka ‘The City of Steel”, near Dessau in Germany and it’s all set to be one of the biggest and best European festivals of the year…
Melt! Festival is one of the largest and most unique festivals in Germany. It’s set in the grounds of an open-air museum that houses gigantic cranes of the twentieth century, yes I did say cranes, the mechanical kind. Some of them are over 30 metres high and have humungous glitter balls suspended from them. Really, that sounds super! And as if over-sized disco balls wasn’t enough, it’s also sitting pretty beside the edge of a lively fresh water lake. Perfect for taking a refreshing dip on those balmy summer days.
The 13th Melt! festival will take place from the 16th – 20th July 2010 at Ferropolis, near Dessau in Germany, and promises to be full of musical delights for your little ears. Last year’s festival boasted acts as diverse as Oasis and Kasabian, to The Gossip and La Roux, plus a whole host of fabulous electro-rock-dance-fun time bands I’ve never even heard of.
Melt! 2010 guarantees some serious fun, and tickets are available now. If you just can’t wait for the line-up to be announced then take a sneaky peak at their website for warm-up events in Berlin, and get your hands on some early bird tickets right now.
